Caution: While this is not a perfect solution, but this is the one of the ways of using the cutscene without editing table_ent.bin and retain compatibility across all versions.

Locker Room in Exhibition Mode

This is one of my first mod for PES2021. In this mod, you will see players talk in the locker room before starting the match. Thanks to @Durandil67 for his camera works from his mod for the locker room cutscene!

What this mod does?

This mod will change default exhibition entrance ID to the final cup ones, with this, I have replaced the cup preview with the locker room cutscene and improved the overall atmosphere before kicking off. You can have a look inside the .lua file on how this mod works.

Installation

Make sure sider.ini has LuaJIT FFI enabled, you can enable it with "luajit.ext.enabled = 1" in your sider.ini.
Just like any regular sider scripts/module, you have to extract it to sider and load it by adding it to sider.ini but in case if you don't know how to do it, here are the steps of how:

• 1. Download the ZIP file and extract it to sider folder.

• 2. Make sure the modules has exhibition_locker.lua in modules folder and exhibition-locker in content folder after you have extracted it


• 3. After you ensured that you have the mods in your sider folder, open sider.ini and add lua.module = "exhibition_locker.lua" below luajit.ext.enabled = 1.

• 4. VERY IMPORTANT STEP IS MAKING SURE that luajit.ext.enabled is set to 1 otherwise the mod will NOT work!!
• 5. Open sider.exe and see it load in game!

I really want to see new mods based on this .lua file/mod, because there's a lot of entrance IDs for it. I'm pretty sure that you can help improve it and make exhibition feels a little bit different each time you play.
